TITLE:PROJECT ARCHITECT / DESIGN COORDINATOR

BASE REQUIREMENTS

FLUENT ENGLISH AND CHINESE SPEAKING CAPABILITY CAPABLE OF ENGLISH/MANDARIN LISTENING/WRITTEN TRANSLATION AT LEAST 6-8 YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE ARCHITECTURE FIELD FULL KNOWLEDGE OF CHINESE CODE AND DESIGN/REVIEW PROCESS ABLE TO TRAVEL WITHIN CHINA REGISTERED ARCHITECT (CLASS 1 ARCHITECT) PAST WORK ROYALTY IS IMPORTANT

MINIMUM SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS

AUTOCAD 3D MAX / MAYA / RHINO OR EQUAL PHOTOSHOP / ILLUSTRATOR POWERPOINT / IN-DESIGN

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate will work in JERDE Shanghai Office as a Project Architect and interface with Los Angeles as Design Coordination for multiple projects.

Candidate must possess strong knowledge of Local CHINA Architectural process including LDI interface. This interface will then be documented and coordinated to the LA design team as required.

Candidate must be able to work with LA based design team as required per individual project requirements. Therefore strong production skills are necessary including a solid Skill Set as referenced

herein.

Candidate must be able to work on multiple jobs at a variety of architectural stages throughout the process.

Candidate must be able to travel within China to meet design teams presentations, attend kick-off workshops, support in translation, meet with LDI’s, or any other architectural design related issues as required by each individual job.

Candidate must be able to make translations to design briefs, technical drawings, Power Point presentations and any other project information received to support both Shanghai and Los Angeles offices.

Candidate may be required to work directly with and or support JERDE China Director with Client interface, Business Development or Marketing Strategy as needed.
