Units 1---2

1. Last summer vacation, our family decided to go somewhere interesting and beautiful. First, we went to the mountains. We walked up to the top of the mountain. But when we got to the top, it was raining really hard. We didn’t have an umbrella so we were wet and cold. And we couldn’t see anything from below because of the bad weather. How terrible it was! The next day, it was sunny and hot, so we went to the beach. There we saw too many old buildings. We tried riding bicycles and we also went to an old town called Weld-Quay. I wonder what life was like here in the past. I really enjoyed walking around the town.

2. Last month, we asked our students about their free time activities. Our questions were about exercise, use of the Internet and watching TV. Here are the results. We were surprised that ninety percent of them use the Internet every day. The other ten percent use it at least three or four times a week. Most students use it for fun and not for homework.

It is good to relax by using the Internet or watching game shows, but we think the best way to relax is through exercise. It is healthy for the mind and the body. Exercise such as playing sports is fun, and you can spend time with your friends and family as you play together. And remember, “Old habits die hard”. So start exercising before it’s too late.

1. The earth is a planet. It is being polluted because there is more pollution into the sea. We should protect our environment and everyone plays part in saving the earth.

2. When we watch the movies about future. We sometimes see the robots. They can build cars in the factories over and over again. They can also do some simple jobs like working in dirty or dangerous places. In the future, there will be more robots. They will have different kinds of shapes. Some will look like human servants. Some will look like snakes. The snake robots will help look for the people inside the buildings.

3. As an astronaut, He sometimes lives in an apartment. Sometimes he lives on a space station.

4. I believe everything is possible and I can fly to the moon by rocket one day.

5. During summer holiday, I remembered lots of English words.
