Paul:Hello,my name is Paul,I am your new roommate .

Jim:oh,nice to meet you .

Paul:You must be Jim ,I have seen you in our classmate QQ group.

Jim:Really,you are so careful,I am not so careful as you.

Paul:Thank you ,because you looks so nice in QQ,but now I believe that you are more charming than you photos.

Jim:Thank you so much.You are so kind and friendly.I am curious where are you from ? Paul:I am from Henan province ,and you?

Jim:I am from Shandong province.It seems that our hometown is very near.

Paul:Yeah,that’s true .

Jim:It is time to have dinner,I’m little hungry,how about you?

Paul:Oh,i did not feel it,but i am glad to have dinner with you.

Jim:Do you know where is the dinning hall?

Paul:Yes. it is not too far away from here, I will show you.

Jim:Thank you for your kindness.

Paul:We should help each other,let’s go.

2.Interview

Paul:Good morning,I’m Paul.(shake hand )

Jim: oh ,Mr Paul ,Nice to meet you .

Jim:Please have a seat, .I received your resume a few weeks ago, and I must say I’m very impressed. Can you tell me something about yourself?

Paul:I graduated from Nanchang HK University with a master degree in Information Engineering. I have always been passionate about computer. I am good at math and programming.

Jim:I’m glad to hear that.Why do you want to work for our company?

Paul:Your company has an impressive reputation,and I have always wanted to work for a famous company like that.

Jim:Thank you,can you tell me your greatest weaknesses?

Paul:My greatest weakness is that I work too hard. I dedicate myself 100%, and sometimes I will not eat or sleep until I have completed a task to the fullest.

Jim:Well, you might be just the person we have been looking for. Do you have any questions? Paul:Yes. If I were hired, how long it will take to work?

Jim:OK, it is not very long .It was very nice to meet you.

Paul: Thanks. It was nice meeting you, too, and thanks for coming in today.

Jim:Hey,Paul why are you look so worried?

Paul: Oh, Jim I'm worried about my sister Lily. She's in college and has just declared art as her major.

Jim: Why does that worry you? I've seen her stuff. She's very talented.

Paul: I know. But I'm afraid that once she graduates she won't be able to make ends meet. Most artists only make about 60 percent of what the average worker makes a year. Plus ,it's harder for

art majors to find a full-time job. But she doesn't seem too concerned.

Jim: But you're forgetting that there's more to choosing a career than making money. Lily loves art and that's what's important. Even if she's not rolling in dough, she'll be happy and emotionally satisfied.

Paul: But she'll have bills to pay. It's going to be hard for her to sustain a decent lifestyle on what an artist makes.

Jim: I don't agree with you,First of all, don't put money too seriously,money does not equal to happiness. Second, I am confident that her abilities and talent can make her live a good life.So don't worry about it. Paul: I sure hope you're righ,But I still have a little worry.

Jim:Oh,it's 10 o'clock, I should get going now,see you later.

Paul:See you.

Jim:Hey,Paul why are you look so exhausted?

Paul: Oh, Jim I played cell phone last night too late to get up early this morning. I can not help myself playing phone.

Jim: That is too bad, why are you so interested with it.

Paul: I can read many ebooks by using the phone anytime and anywhere ,especially when i am waiting for something such as bus .You see in this way I can save time,is not it?

Jim: That sounds not too bad.And then?

Paul: i chat on the internet by qq or wechat it spend me too much time and energy.in my spare time ,i will see what has happened by weibo or tieba ,it cost me a lot of time.

Jim:look,you have indulge yourself in the virtual world,it is not good for your interpersona

l relationship in the real world.and i am afraid it impair your health,be care of your eyes and your neck.

Paul: oh,maybe you are right. what shall i do,i can not live without phone ?

Jim:you can use 2G phone which just can send messages and call instead of smart phone,cherish your health and get far away from phone.

Paul:thank you for your advice.
